Sotogrande: The Premium Benchmark
Sotogrande is the luxury residential resort at the western end of the Costa del Sol, approximately 15 kilometres from Manilva. It's home to Valderrama Golf (host of the 1997 Ryder Cup), a large marina, polo fields, and some of the most expensive residential property on the coast.
For investors, Sotogrande represents the premium end of the western corridor. Entry prices start at €5,000 per square metre, with prime marina and golf-front properties reaching €8,000 or more. Yields are lower than Manilva or Casares but capital preservation is strong.

Sotogrande vs Manilva: Different Investment Propositions
Sotogrande is about capital preservation in a proven luxury market. Manilva is about yield and growth potential at a lower entry point. Most investors we work with at BlancaReal are looking for the value play. If your priority is prestige and capital security over yield, Sotogrande may be the right fit.
The two markets are connected. Sotogrande's presence lifts the profile of the entire western corridor, and buyers who visit Sotogrande but find the prices too high often discover Manilva and Casares as alternatives.
